One of the favourite museums I have been to, a true triumph.

One of the favourite museums I have been to, a true triumph. Get there at least two hours earlier than you thought you would need so you can take your time and soak it in - it's a real 15th century longboat, you can peek inside from the balcony and see the actual boards these people stood on, and on the ground floor there are some of the skeletal remains of the very people who walked on said boards - it's incredible!!!!

Vasa is a ship that sunk in 17th century and was conserved in the mud, which allowed to salvage it at our days almost intact. I was amazed. You can view it from outside at different levels from the bottom to the top. There also cloth, shoes, dishes and many more items from the chests of the crew and scientifically restored appearances of the men and women drowned with the ship, they're made so natural that you can't believe that they aren't alive. I'd definitely recommend to visit.

Nice hotel in a central location. Secure, safe and welcoming in an upmarket shopping area of the city. Bed was very comfortable and room was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent plenty of hot and cold choices. Check out time of 12.00 was also useful for my last morning in Stokholm. Good value in an expensive city. Good location for the old town, vasa museum (very highly recommended) and all other attractions.

Property was very nice and clean. There was a kitchen in our apartment with all the necessary facilities, so we could even cook. Beds were amazing, I have never slept that good at any hotel. Very calm place since it is not the city center. About 25min walk away from ABBA museum and Vasa museum. Strongly recomend.

The room was a little small but absolutely fine. Great place with a great vibe. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. It was snowy and winter but we had a look at the rooftop bar and it would be fabulous in summer. There is an indoor part also. Restautants we can recommend are Aifur in Gamla Stan and Knut Regeringsgatan. You will probably have to book. We tried to walk in and it was too busy. Stockholm is a great place and walkable. Abba musuem and Vasa museum are musts.

Very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. - 10 minutes walk to various buss lines - The ferry departs and arrives in front of the entrance. 8 minutes by ferry to Vasa Museum and Abba Museum, 16 minutes to Stockholm City. - Buy a public transport card to travel unlimited for a fixed price.
